Profile – Bad Boy Danny Pagan

Birthplace – Bayamon, Puerto Rico.

Trained by – legendary lucha wrestlers El Verdugo & El Tanque

It’s been a long road for current NWA Coastal Heavyweight Champion “Bad Boy” Danny Pagan.  Pagan has a great pedigree in the business, and held the Junior Heavyweight Championship for Carlos Colon’s World Wrestling Council after making his debut.  Also an excellent tag partner, Pagan participated in a WWC tournament for the Tag Team Championship with his partner The Hunter.

After spending several years in the WWC and IWA in Puerto Rico, Danny made his way to the States, and began to work for several different promotions, including EBW, NXW and DWF before making his debut in the original Force 1 Pro Wrestling, where in August 2007 he defeated former ECW star The Equalizer to become NWA Force 1 Heavyweight Champion.  During his title reign, “Bad Boy” also defeated independent stars Patch, Breaker Morant, and later, former ECW/WWE star Danny Doring.

After Pagan left Force 1 in late 2008, he began to work for several other promotions including a stop at CZW, and then left the business for a short period after the passing of his mother.  Pagan returned to the NWA in 2011, and again defeated his nemesis Patch in Mays Landing, NJ to win the NWA Coastal Heavyweight Championship.  That title reign was short lived, since on October 9, 2011, he was defeated by Patch (with help from Patch’s manager Millionaire John II), and worked in several rematches until he took the title by defeating Patch on August 4, 2012, then turning on the former champ by allying himself with Millionaire John & The Boardwalk Mafia.  He’s held on title, and his most recent match against number one contender Biggie Biggs ended in a disqualification when the Mafia interfered in the match.  While the Jersey Shore legend Biggs got the victory, Pagan retained the strap.

Pagan also works for several other promotions in the NY/NJ area, including ACE Pro Wrestling, and the legendary Dominican star Bronco II’s Bronx Wrestling Federation.
