In August, Sebastian Cruz proved himself to be the number 1 challenger for the NWA Coastal Iron Man title with a narrow victory over “The American Psycho” Alex Payne.  What he was unaware of as the ref made the 3 count was that later that evening at the “Bragging Rights II” show, that Kevin Tibbs would WIN that same title with a defeat of “The Cuban Crippler” Ricky Reyes.

Now, Cruz will have to do yet another gut check as he takes on Kevin Tibbs for the NWA Iron Man Championship on October 13th at the Bayville Elks Lodge.

Cruz is no stranger to gut checks.  Less than a year ago, he was called up by the WWE to face none other than Mark Henry on an episode of WWE SMACKDOWN.  While he was defeated by Henry, Cruz fought the good fight, and intends on doing the same on October 13th, at PROVIN GROUNDS II.

Tibbs however, seems to take the challenge of the Cuqui Kid (Cruz) in stride.  “Look, I defeated one of the best wrestlers on the indy circuit in Ricky Reyes………he’s still licking his wounds and won’t be around when I face Cruz on October 13th, so why should I worry?”

While Reyes had no comment concerning his absence from the card on the 13th, Alex Payne did.  “The fact that Sebastian Cruz stole a victory from me means nothing, though it must mean something to Commissioner Tommy Cairo and the powers that be at NWA Coastal, since I’m not on the October show!  See, it won’t matter who wins that title on the 13th, because I will come to take it away on November 17th in Bayville…..YOU HEAR THAT, CAIRO???”

For October though, it will be Cruz vs. Tibbs for the NWA Coastal Iron Man Championship!
