Again, Coastal Commissioner Tommy Cairo has surprised the local indy wrestling scene.

NEWF Heavyweight Champion Rick Ryder appeared at the last show, but bought a ticket to get into “Tommy Cairo’s YOUNG LIONS” show on May 12th.  Ryder did that because he wanted an audience with Cairo to discuss his entry into the NWA.  Evidently Tommy was so impressed with Rick Ryder that he booked him for the August 4th “Bragging Rights II” show.

Into the Coastal heavyweight mix?

Ryder will have quite a challenge on his hands as he will face one of the top vote getters by fan vote after the YOUNG LIONS tournament, Bobby Youngblood.  Strangely enough, these two engaged in a war of words before Commissioner Cairo even booked both wrestlers for this show, which will take place on Saturday August 4th, at the Bayville (NJ) Elks Lodge.

This adds to the matches already signed for that night, which includes:
